This very first creative "You Can Make It" project is dedicated to my friend, Kami! She doesn't think she's creative, but I know she could be if she tried! This will be something simple that she can do and will make her kiddos proud!
Since Halloween is next week, I thought I would share a great way to give your Halloween goodies a fun way! I have to say that this is not my original idea. I saw this idea on some digital scrapbooking sites a few years ago. The ones they were selling were for were for Valentine's Day treats, but I think they are great to do for any holiday or special occasion! These are so simple to make and anyone can do it...the kiddos can even help! I made a couple of freebie designs to help you get started! The back of the topper is decorated, too! Directions:- Fill sandwich baggies with your favorite Halloween goodies
- Print the goodie bag toppers-I've put them 2 to a page. You can print on your home ink jet printer OR...I prefer to go to Office Max and have them printed with a color laser! It only costs $0.49 a sheet (so you will get 2 toppers for $0.49)! The color is AMAZING this way!
- Cut out the toppers (I use a paper trimmer, but scissors will work fine) and fold them in half (there's a little line so you will know where to fold)
- Put the topper over the top of the sandwich baggie and staple into place!
- You can be finished now OR staple on a piece of folded ribbon or fabric just for a little more flair!
It's just that easy! You will be the coolest mom, co-worker or friend if you give treats this way!
I did these little baggies recently for Lee Lee's 4th Birthday Party. If you want to do them for a birthday party and aren't computer savvy, you can always use fun scrapbooking paper and stickers from your favorite hobby or craft store!
