Tales of the perfectionist....

If you don't know me...I'm a real perfectionist when it comes to things that I make. I get soooooo annoyed when things don't turn out or there's a flaw! I can't stand if I cut or glue something crooked, if a design doesn't have the right texture...you get the idea! Sewing is a newer venture for me. I don't like doing things that I can't "perfect", so I didn't sew anything for a long time since I wasn't sure if I would be any good at it. Anyways, here's a peasant top that I was making for a gift. Now it's going to be Lee Lee's since I have a flaw and I'm not sure how to fix it! Everything was going great...then I noticed that my serger picked up a little bit of the back of the shirt. I ripped open the seam wishing and hoping that there wouldn't be a hole from the serger!!! Please, please, please....let there not be a hole! But, of course there was! So, now what do I do?!!! It's super cute from the front...I guess I will have to make little "patches" on the top...make it look like that's how it was suppose to be all along! What are ya gonna do?!!!
I know it's hard to see...but there's where the cut is! Why, why, WHY??!!!! UGH!!!!! I really don't have time for this right now! Obviously, I'm starting over! Perfection prevails...always!
