Mommy Magic Book Signing!

Let me first say that is was a very fun night! I don't ever go out on a school night, but my Indy Mama got me out and I'm glad for it! Tonight I had the pleasure of getting out for a bit with my Indy Mama, Jill (from Westwood Paper...we go back to my Indy beginnings and my Lee Lee calls her "Honey"), for a book signing...my very first! The author, Mary Susan Buhner, was a former client of mine from years back when I was working in invitations and is still friends and client a of Jill's. She just wrote a new book called Mommy Magic, Tricks for Staying Sane in the Midst of Insanity. Mary Susan is just the most wonderful person! She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside! When I flipped through the book, I recognized several of the contributing authors as well....all truly lovely, local ladies! I can't wait to start reading! I've already skimmed the part about every mom's favorite store, Target...SO TRUE! You'll just have to get a copy to see what I mean! I just have to paint the picture of this book signing for you since this book signing was not your average book signing (you know, like the kinds that they have at Barnes and Noble)! It was held at the very posh David and Mary Salon. The ladies were testing out all the spa treatments (including teeth whitening, blowouts, make-up and MUCH MORE!). How much fun is that?!!! We were content with a little champagne and sushi :) !
